What is 3D modeling, and how is it different from rendering?
3D modeling is the act of building an accurate three-dimensional version of your project, walls, geometry, cabinetry, and site, from your 2D plans or sketches. Rendering is the next step: lighting and texturing that model to produce a photorealistic image. We model in SketchUp, which gives us a clean, editable foundation that flows straight into our interior and exterior renders.

What is the difference between 3D modeling and rendering?
Modeling builds the accurate 3D geometry of your project. Rendering lights and textures that model into a photorealistic image. We do both.
What software do you use?
We model in SketchUp, then render photorealistically. The model gives us a clean, editable base for renders and walkthroughs.
Can you model from 2D plans or sketches?
Yes. Floor plans, elevations, or even rough sketches are enough for us to build an accurate model.
Does modeling include the final render?
It can. We can deliver the model on its own, or carry it through to finished renders, your choice.
What formats do you deliver?
SketchUp files and standard exchange formats on request, plus high-resolution render images if you continue to rendering.
How fast is turnaround?
We send first drafts within 4 working days; the clock pauses while we wait on your feedback.
